Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson's friendship has put both of them in some wild situations.
While promoting their new show, "Brothers," the two actors, and close friends, have shared many anecdotes from their years-long friendship, which have sent the internet buzzing.
Whether it be finding out they might be brothers to Harrelson surprising McConaughey in bed in the middle of the night, these two Hollywood icons have made it clear they have an interesting friendship.
Here are some of the most outrageous stories the two shared during recent interviews.
MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY'S PIECE OF RELATIONSHIP ADVICE THAT KEEPS HIS MARRIAGE TO CAMILA ALVES STRONG
During an appearance on the "Glass Half Full" podcast, McConaughey described some of the oddities that come with being Harrelson's friend, saying "he's never gone through a front door in his life."
He explained that no matter how long it has been since they last saw each other, Harrelson has "never called or sent a message" to make plans, adding, "he just shows up."
"We hadn't seen each other for a year at the time when I was living out in LA. I hadn't seen him for a year. Guess my introduction to him," he said. ".' And I go, 'Woah.' Two in the morning, wake up, Woody's in between us in bed! He had jumped the fence, picked the window, snuck in, and got in bed with us."
When host Craig Melvin told Harrelson that "people have been shot for less," the actor replied, "Well, I was hoping he didn't have a gun."
"But what a good way to wake up a friend, you know what I mean, and get to be next to Camila [Alves, McConaughey's wife]," Harrelson added. "Like, that was nice. She was warm to me."
When speaking to Melvin, the celebrity duo also shared how they first met, although they admit they have different recollections.
McConaughey admits Harrelson "believes we've known each other one year longer" than he does, because "I don't remember the first time we met."
He blames it on the idea that they began taking shots together at 1 pm, but when Harrelson corrected him on a detail in the story, McConaughey told him, "I don't remember. You tell me."
"I already knew of him and I liked him from a distance," Harrelson said. "And then I met him, and I'm like, 'Hey, let's do a shot,' and he's like, 'Man, I got a lot of work to do today.' I said, 'One shot's gonna stop you from all the work you got?'"
McConaughey then chimed in adding, "Hence, I don't remember meeting that day. It doesn't sound like that was the beginning and the end of the story."
While telling Melvin about Harrelson's many talents, McConaughey casually mentioned that the actor once "did a handstand 18 inches away from the edge of the Grand Canyon."
"The stuff this guy pulls off because he didn't know better is still amazing," McConaughey said. "Most people do that stuff when they're a kid, and they lose it as they get older, because you know better. This kid, what are you, 60 what now... 65 and he's still doing handstands on the edge of the Grand Canyon."
While Harrelson tried to downplay the achievement by saying he was further away than McConaughey is saying and that it wasn't the Grand Canyon, the "Dallas Buyers Club" star continued to praise him.
"I'm probably exaggerating less than from the edge on his hand, ," McConaughey said. "The photographer freaks out. Never got a picture of it."
He added that had the photographer been able to take a photo, "it would have been the most epic shot."
