'Choosin' Texas' turns one as Ella Langley reflects on the song that made her country's biggest star

Ella Langley hopped on social media to celebrate the one-year anniversary of her most popular song.

Langley has become the most popular woman in country music over the past year, and there's really nobody who can come close to taking the throne from the singer.

It's been absolutely insane watching her career explode. A big reason why she shot to the top of the mountain can be tied to one thing:

The popular song spent a record-breaking 23 weeks in the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and has taken the country world by storm.

COUNTRY MUSIC STAR ELLA LANGLEY PROVES HER SOCIAL MEDIA DOMINANCE WITH VIRAL TOUR PHOTOS

I don't think I know a single country music fan who can't sing the song word for word. The music video is also electric.

Well, Langley jumped on Instagram to celebrate the one-year of success since its Oct. 17, 2025, release.

"One year of Choosin Texas 🤍 This song… I am constantly & consistently amazed by what this song has done & how much yall continue to love it. Youll never know how much it means to me & everyone involved in making it come to life, thankful is an understatement. Heres to 365 days of madness," the talented country artist captioned the video.

The post is also putting up massive numbers. It's sitting with more than 362,000 likes as of publication. Check it out below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

MIRANDA LAMBERT SAYS SHE AND ELLA LANGLEY CLASHED WHILE MAKING HIT RECORD

It certainly feels like country music is going through a bit of a revival at the moment, and Langley is one of the major players driving that movement.

"Choosin' Texas" is also far from her only success over the past 12 months. She's racked up awards, released a new album and dropped music with Koe Wetzel and Miranda Lambert.

Her song "Snakeskin Boots" with Lambert feels like a 1960s cowboys vs. outlaws spaghetti western. It's 100% worth giving a listen if you haven't already.

Now, fans wait to see what Langley cooks up next. Expectations are high, but as she's proven time and time again, she will exceed them. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
