Cops called to Florida youth soccer game to deal with parents of 3-year-old soccer prodigy
Cops were called to a Florida youth soccer field Saturday morning and, based on a police report, it's because a 3-year-old is too good for a 5U soccer league.
According to Winter Park, Florida, police, an official from the i9 Sports league called cops Saturday morning looking for help settling a "disturbance between league officials and the parents of a player." In audio obtained by the New York Post, league official Thomas Hayes tells a dispatcher that one of the parents was being "really, really disruptive."

"Like following me around, calling me names in front of the whole bunch of people that are here. I want to be done," Hayes explained, before adding, "Can you have someone quickly get here?"
What caused the drama in the first place? Based on the reports obtained by the Post, it was Hayes who revealed that other parents were upset over the 3-year-old's playing time. The kid is too good. The report goes on to state that Hayes told the family that their son would no longer be allowed in the league based on their behavior during the "disturbance" and they'd receive a refund.
Police say this is all out of their hands. They say this is now a civil matter.

"The league requested the family leave and offered to refund the league cost to family. Shortly after arrival, the officers were requested by the league official to communicate with the family as he did not want to further a disturbance. The family stated the game was over and they were leaving," Winter Park police said in a statement.
Is i9 using the "disturbance" angle as cover for telling the family to move on? It's unclear because i9 has not provided clarification. An attempt to reach company executives on Monday was unsuccessful. OutKick was told to send a message through the company's media inquiry link. Calls to the Winter Park office were unsuccessful and the league's mailbox was full.
AMERICA'S SOFTEST GENERATION ISN'T THE KIDS — IT'S THEIR PARENTS
The parents contend that the boy was kicked out because he's too good. Based on the video evidence, there's no question that the kid can move the ball with precision. In a league full of beginners, he's Pelé.
In an October 10 post, the family claimed their son had 21 goals in two games.
