Midair brawl erupts on packed flight as screaming passengers jump from seats
Dramatic video has captured the moment a midair brawl erupted between two passengers on a London-bound flight — causing fellow travelers to scream and jump from their seats.
The incident took place aboard a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight traveling from Sylhet, Bangladesh, to London Heathrow on Sept. 16, according to news agency Jam Press.
One man's T-shirt was badly torn as the altercation unfolded in front of passengers.
The incident reportedly began as an argument between before turning physical, Jam Press said. The cause of the argument is unknown.
Men and women were seen jumping from their seats and attempting to break up the fight as the men exchanged blows in the aisle.

The outlet obtained video of the altercation, which later circulated on social media, along with a statement from Biman Bangladesh Airlines confirming the incident.
"The flight departed Sylhet this morning," said Mohiuddin Ahmed, general manager of the airline's public relations department. "At some point during the flight, two passengers got into a physical altercation."
"The cabin crew later intervened and resolved the situation between them," he added.
Fox News Digital reached out to the Metropolitan Police at Heathrow Airport to ask whether any or if further action was taken following the incident.
Fox News Digital also reached out to Biman Bangladesh Airlines for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
Sylhet is a city in northeastern Bangladesh, about 125 miles northeast of Dhaka, the country's capital.
FlightAware reported that flights between Sylhet and London can take more than 11 hours.
The incident is the latest in a string of disruptive encounters involving passengers aboard commercial flights.
Earlier this summer, an easyJet flight was forced to return to the airport after a brawl involving around 10 passengers erupted shortly after takeoff.
In 2024, an was taken into custody after allegedly injuring a flight attendant while attempting to open a cabin door mid-flight, prompting three fellow passengers to restrain him with tape.
